Day/Play Care Zone
While you’re at work, your dog can be playing and getting the attention he needs (instead of chewing on the living room furniture!). Our Playcare Zone offers social dogs the opportunity to meet numerous other dogs, all ready to make friends. Our trained staff keep the dogs busy all day with a few of the following activities: indoor & outdoor play (weather permitting), munching on snacks (healthy, of course!), or watching movies made just for dogs. Other activities might include "hide and seek", "tag" or anything else that your canine's mind can come up with.
Dogs who have had opportunities for developing good social skills normally fit right into play groups. Other dogs that have not had the same social experiences might be a little more uncomfortable or reserved in a play group. Professional daycare managers will provide an assesment of your dog's personality for integration into our playcare groups. All dogs that are in the Playcare Zone have passed a temperament assessment to make sure they are a good fit for the group.
Playcare is not fit for all dogs. Some dogs may pass the temperament assesment, but then may exhibit more stress than enjoyment while in a Playcare setting, For these less gregarious dogs we provide personalized daycare in private quarters with activity toys and staff interaction during four private exercise sessions. We welcome other animals for day visits as well. So drop them off on the way to work and pick them up on the way home—they’ll love it! You will know by the time you pick your dog up at the end of the day that you made the right decision.
In addition to our 1,000 square foot indoor playroom, The Zone also features a luxurious and innovative artificial turf called K-9 Grass in our outdoor play area. The grass not only feels wonderful but it will keep your dog clean! No more going home with dirty paws! This special grass helps keep our Playcare Zone a clean and healthy environment for your "kids" to romp around in.
